If you watch Legend of the Seeker season 2 episode 4 (s02e04) captioned Touched, you will find Kahlan and Richard going out of their way to help and rescue a mysterious girl, who is considered as the only other living Confessor. Actually, Richard and Kahlan objective is two-fold; to rescue the girl and prevent her from using the devastating powers she has.
